Julian On Sax is a versatile saxophonist suitable for all types of events. He is currently achieving great success with his festival act Sophisticated Live!
Julian de Munnik was inspired by Maceo Parker, Art Pepper and Cannonball Adderley. At a young age, Julian de Munnik played solos to the sound of his father’s music collection.
By combining this with lessons from Rik van den Bergh, Jan de Ligt and Ben Rodenburg, he developed a free approach to music. Julian de Munnik has played as a saxophonist in De Harborclub, in The Harborclub on Ibiza, at the Gaypride Canal parade and in club Bloomingdale.
He has now collaborated with many well-known DJs. His unique selling point is the ability to improvise by ear. After performing at many weddings, shows, corporate events and clubs, Julian is now trying to bring a new sound to the public, called ‘Sophisticated Live’ (because that’s what happens when real house music is combined with funky sax).
Saxophonist Julian can also be upgraded with a Allround DJ or percussionist!
