Percussionist Yannick

Percussionist Yannick is an all-round percussionist graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory. Yannick is a very good percussionist who perfectly combines rhythmic feeling, improvisation ability and sense of show.

Yannick is a great percussionist with one of our DJs. It’s great to watch the joy that Yannick exudes in his playing, but it’s perhaps even more fun to just listen to it and enjoy it. Yannick is an absolute top musician who has played with many great artists. He has now performed several times at North Sea Jazz.

Yannick masters many styles. Together with our DJs he plays lounge, dance, Latin and pop music. A bit quieter at the beginning of the evening with nice lounge music, later in the evening it becomes more swinging and exciting. His mobile percussion act is really fun: when it starts to get really fun during the party, Yannick tries to enhance the atmosphere even further. He then hangs his djembe around his neck and approaches the guests. He then plays among the people on the dance floor and creates a wonderfully exciting atmosphere together with the guests.
