The Karaoke Band: It’s All About Live Karaoke

The Karaoke Band combines the energy of live music with the freedom of karaoke. Instead of a fixed set where guests simply watch, it creates an interactive evening where the audience decides which songs are played. And there’s one essential ingredient: that typical Dutch sense of “gezelligheid”, a warm, social atmosphere where everyone joins in and has a great time together.

Request slips are placed on every table, just like in a piano bar. Guests write down their favorite songs and anyone who wants to can take the microphone. This gradually turns the performance into a shared karaoke party, with the audience deciding how far the evening goes. Before you know it, the entire room is singing along and the live performance becomes a party everyone is part of.

A Party Band That Always Works

Not everyone feels comfortable stepping onto the stage right away. No problem: if guests prefer to simply listen, The Karaoke Band can also provide a complete evening of live music without karaoke. The evening often starts as a live performance, with karaoke naturally developing as the atmosphere builds.

Real Live Music Without Backing Tracks

Every song is played completely live, without backing tracks. This allows the band to respond directly to whoever is singing. A song can be played higher, lower or slower, and when the entire audience is singing along enthusiastically, the chorus can simply be played again.

That is what makes The Karaoke Band different from a traditional karaoke setup: live music, interaction and improvisation come together in one unique and festive experience.

The Karaoke Band for Parties and Events

The Karaoke Band is available for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, festivals, bars and other events where guests want to become part of the show. Different line-ups and additional options are available.

Standard Performance Times

The standard performance consists of 1 x 90 minutes or 2 x 45 minutes within a 2-hour period. The musicians arrive one hour before the start for setup and soundcheck and dismantle immediately after the performance. Other performance schedules can be arranged upon request.

During the breaks, festive background music via a Spotify playlist is included free of charge. Prefer a DJ to provide the music? This is also possible at an additional cost.

Solo Pianist and Singer

The solo version features a pianist/singer and is ideal for smaller and medium-sized events.

€800 – Pianist using the venue’s existing sound system
€1,050 – Pianist with sound system and ambient lighting for up to 100 guests
€1,400 – Pianist with sound system and ambient lighting for up to 250 guests
€300 – Optional: additional 45-minute set

Duo with Pianist, Singer and Drummer

For extra energy, The Karaoke Band can be expanded into a duo featuring a pianist/singer and drummer. The live drums add extra dynamics and create an even more complete party experience.

€1,450 – Pianist & drummer using the venue’s existing sound system
€1,700 – Pianist & drummer with sound system and ambient lighting for up to 100 guests
€2,100 – Pianist & drummer with sound system and ambient lighting for up to 250 guests
€550 – Optional: additional 45-minute set

Additional Karaoke Host or Singer

Looking for even more audience interaction? Add an additional karaoke host/singer. This performer encourages guests to sing along, takes the microphone into the audience and creates even more interaction throughout the karaoke experience.

€650 – Additional karaoke host/singer, based on 2 x 45 minutes or 1 x 90 minutes.

DJ During the Breaks

For a fully continuous musical experience, the breaks can be covered by a professional DJ. The DJ takes over between the live sets and keeps the atmosphere going seamlessly throughout the evening.

From €1,150 – DJ with DJ equipment/sound system for the breaks, up to 3 hours on site.
